COVID-19 

The last 18 months have been a difficult and uncertain time for us all.  With rapidly changing travel restrictions, the States shutting borders and going into fast lockdowns without much warning, are challenging times for all.  We personally know how much this can impact your holiday plans.  We trust by having flexible travel policies in place this can help take some of the stress out of booking your accommodation with us.   Our flexible booking policy will give you peace of mind to book your accommodation in advance.

 

You can be assured that your Suites have been professional cleaned and sanitised.  We have implemented a contact-free check-in process.  Any breakfast delivered to your Suite will be placed on a table outside the Suite.
 

Flexible Cancellation Policy

A full refund will be given for a State Government or Commonwealth Government lockdown which restricts you from travelling to or from your destination. 

 

For bookings cancelled 7 days or less before arrival date a credit valid for 12 months or the option to rebook at a later date will be offered for the following reasons:  You or your immediate family becomes sick with COVID-19; You are forced into self-isolation; You are waiting results of a COVID-19 test;   As per our cancellation terms a full refund will be offered if cancellation is made 8 days prior to arrival date.  

Cleaning Processes

Our suites are professionally cleaned and sanitised including disinfecting all contact surfaces.  All linen is laundered offsite at a commercial laundry. Personal hand sanitiser and anti-bacterial hand wash is located in both the bathroom and kitchenette.  

Records we keep

As part of our COVID-19 Safe plan, all guests will be sent a health declaration form which they are asked to complete and return prior to their arrival at our accommodation. As required by law, we are also maintaining a register of all guests contact details, should this be needed for contact tracing. 

 Refund Process

REBOOKING/12 MONTH CREDIT:  If your booking is cancelled 7 days or less before the arrival date if you or your immediate family becomes sick with COVID-19;  you are forced into self-isolation; you are waiting results of a COVID-19 test you will be given the option of rebooking at a later date or 12 months credit to use towards any future accommodation.   To change your dates or to use your credit please email relax@messmates.com.au.

FULL REFUNDS PROCESS:  Any monies paid directly to us will be fully refunded directly to you.  If you have booked via a third party we will work with our external parties to ensure that you receive back any payments (less any financial charges incurred by the third party).  

Check-in process

Your hosts will greet you outside in the carpark area, ensuring that social distancing is strictly adhered too, and provide directions to your suite.  Your key will be in the door of your suite.

QR Code

In your suite you will find a QR Code. Please use this code to check-in to your suite.
